C-Risk Launches Construction Risk Management Website.....
Denver, CO, June 23, 2000 – C-Risk, Inc. President, David L. Grenier, announced
that their website, www.C-Risk.com, was launched. The website was developed to help construction, insurance and risk management
professionals learn about construction risk management and provide educational resources, industry news, and links to products
and services.
www.C-Risk.com contains information about C-Risk client services, but also includes a wealth of information and references
to assist construction professionals better understand the inherent risks of construction operations, including
information on construction safety and risk management, construction risks & exposures, and risk management strategies.
The C-Risk website includes an extensive reference library with dictionaries, glossaries, directories, periodicals, and codes & standards.
Much of the information and resources are not only construction industry related, but include business, financial management,
contract management, legal and regulatory content. "Our main focus was to provide an educational and informational resource
that could be used by construction industry professionals to assist in their risk management strategic planning", says Mr. Grenier.
www.C-Risk.com augments C-Risk's mission to educate and advise construction industry professionals on the risks and exposures
of construction operations. "We advocate a methodology that is based on holistic risk management. The website is only a first-step in the
educational process. We have determined that the more a potential client knows and understands about their risks and exposures,
the better relationship we will have with that client in structuring a comprehensive risk management strategy and program focused
on their specific company requirements. This can be effectively achieved through risk management seminars, workshops and/or consulting", says Mr. Grenier.
With interest rates climbing and economic forecasts indicating a hardening insurance market, some construction insurance
agents and brokers may find the information in the C-Risk website to be an additional resource. It will definitely assist
their clients with some of their risk management planning at renewal time.
