C-Risk provides Construction Defect Mitigation services to Owners, Developers and Builders for
residential construction projects.
Our consultants and loss control professionals help Builders to identify potential sources of loss and assist in evaluating safety and
loss control programs. Once areas of improvement are identified, we assist Builders with the development of a comprehensive
risk management plan, performance measurement strategies, and administrative controls to reduce future losses.
Our staff of Construction Defect experts are focused on Builder needs and work closely with the Builders design and construction teams to provide
strategies on how to improve the design process, implement effective quality and risk management controls for construction jobsite
operations, and help institute program recommendations that reduce and/or eliminate construction defect claims. As an extension of
the Builders project team, we quickly respond to critical issues and
take the initiative to formulate the best possible solution for
continuous improvement and long-term results.
C-Risk understands Builders and the residential housing market. 1999
was a banner year for the U.S. housing market, with home builders
setting an all-time record with over 1 million single-family permits
recorded with the Census Bureau. The housing boom has proliferated
throughout the nation, with 39 metropolitan areas in the U.S.
reporting more than 10,000 total permits. Home prices also increased
in almost every metropolitan housing market.
