In cybersecurity, the Cyber Kill Chain is a well-known concept. It emerged during World War II to describe the sequence of phases of an attack in battle.

In 2011, the kill chain concept was translated into the cybersecurity context.

At C-Risk, we created the Loss Chain framework, which continues the chain of events following a cyber loss event.
