Momentum for quantification
The growing emphasis on Cyber Risk Quantification among large enterprises and financial institutions was a key driver of our success this year. This shift, accelerated by new EU and US regulations on cyber incident reporting and security control disclosures, positions Cyber Risk Quantification as a critical component of a successful cybersecurity strategy. C-Risk was recognized as a vendor in the Gartner Hype Cycle for Cyber Risk Management, 2023, for Cyber Risk Quantification. The 'high benefit rating' of CRQ highlights its potential to increase revenue and optimize costs.
In addition, new partnerships with CRQ technology leaders such as Safe Security and Ostrich Cyber-Risk and Citalid will help our customers improve their cybersecurity and risk management processes.
Growing and connecting
Our team also experienced incredible growth this year. We were able to scale up our consulting efforts by hiring experienced risk analysts located in France, Germany, the UK, and Ireland. In September, the company-wide off-site in Porto, Portugal, provided an opportunity for the remotely connected team to come together and to celebrate all our successes from the first half of the year and to set new goals. It wasn’t all work! The team also enjoyed the sights and tastes of Porto.
C-Risk was also able to connect with our customers and other professionals working in cybersecurity, risk management, governance, and insurance at various conferences and summits such as International Cybersecurity Forum (FIC) in Lille, the 2023 FAIR Conference in Washington D.C., and the inaugural FAIR Institute Europe Summit in London. At FIC, Tom and Christophe gave a well-received masterclass on quantification and really dug into the meat of how it can be implemented for various use cases.
A fresh coat of paint
The launch of our new logo and website in November marked a new chapter for C-Risk. The redesign was a collaborative effort led by the marketing team. This months-long process was the result of all that we learned from our customers, our consultants and industry experts. The new site includes seven new use cases for quantification.
Our blog also got a face lift. This expanding knowledge base is full of expert insights on technology, IT, regulatory challenges, and quantification and general information articles about what is happening in the digital world.
And every two weeks, we add new insights to our video library with deep dives into topics that are most relevant to business decision makers, risk managers and IT teams.
Customers success
It was refreshing to receive feedback from our customers on the tangible benefits of our CRQ solutions, including streamlined investment prioritization, improved stakeholder communication, and optimization of their cyber insurance policies. Significantly, most of our customers have reaffirmed their confidence in C-Risk, validating our approach to risk management. These successes are the result of a cohesive team of empathetic experts who listen to our customers and can deliver actionable insights by combining qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
